The ID number is checked as it's typed
Once the ID type, issuing country and ID number are filled in, the app shows the result above the Identification section: a green check when the format matches, an orange warning when it doesn't.
Issuing country is set automatically for National ID and Residency
For a National ID or Residency, the Issuing Country is set to your account's country and can't be changed. For a Passport, the issuing country is chosen by the user. It's pre-filled with the visitor's nationality when that's already set.
ID details are filled in together
ID type, issuing country and ID number are now one set of details: either all three are filled in or all three are left empty. A partly filled set can't be saved.
Security sees the same result
The same check appears on the visitor's details for security and admins, so a flagged number is easy to spot on arrival.

For any other combination of ID type and issuing country, no format check runs: no message is shown and the visitor is added as usual.
What users see
Good to know
- A warning doesn't block the visitor. The visitor can still be saved, so check the number, ID type and issuing country before continuing.
- Format only. The check confirms the number has the right shape for that document. It doesn't confirm that the ID is genuine or belongs to the visitor.
- Nothing to set up. The check is on for every community that asks for visitor IDs.
